Catullus Carmen 34

This poem is interesting in that Catullus deviates from his usual discussion of Lesbia and love to writing a hymn to Diana, hoping for her ongoing protection of Rome.

I came upon this while looking into the syllabus for A Level Latin, and really loved the natural imagery Catullus uses. I especially enjoyed the way he discusses the many aspects of Diana, and I especially loved stanza three. The metre was a bit of a challenge, but I think the scansion should be correct.

As always, the pdf files have interlinear, grammar squiggles, scansion, and a translation. V1 is in black and white, V2 is in "dark mode", which I find helpful when I am definitely not working on something after midnight.
